Stay Strong America

The world is hurting right now my world once again is changing.
I thought that once something major happens to you, you are good for at least a decade.  Boy I was wrong. I have had several things happened that made me change the way I see life.  For starters, I was sent here to the US when I was 11 years old, that right there marked me for life.  Then, I get the brilliant idea to get married and well, that ended with a broken heart and a new perspective on the future.  After that I had stroke and if you think that I was done, I get diagnosed with a hole in my heart that was closed with surgery while I was wide awake. Then 2019 came and I met anxiety.  She did not want to leave me alone, until one day I woke up and kicked her out to the curb.
That is my story so now you can understand why in my little crazy mind I was sure that I was done for a while.  Then came Covid.
I am blessed that I am healthy and that I am surrounded by people who love me, specially Ryan. Yeah, I disclosed al…

Hair Regrets

The only good thing about this quarantine obviously is that we don't get sick, but the next best thing is I can privately hide the bad haircut I got right before everything shut down LOL   Looking back at these pictures just reminded me how nice my hair was growing and I loved that I can put it up in a bun so easily. I promised myself I would let my hair grow from now on!  Not too long but long enough to at least do this hairdo.
Also, who likes the socks and sandals combo?

Bye March

This month has been the longest month ever.  So much had to get canceled and was left on pending mode.  This month was supposed to be one of the best ever!  I was supposed to be on a panel speaking about heart health and was also supposed to be meeting Melissa Gorga from the RHWONJ.  I am sure all these events will get re-schedule, but the way I feel about this month would never be forgotten.
Hope everyone is safe and healthy at home.

This Too Shall Pass

I am in such shock after all this crazy events are happening that I needed some time off.  My life and I am sure many of yours is upside down right and the thought of the future might be blurry, all I can say is hang in there.  As I know,  this too shall pass.
For now stay home and be safe!

Never Say Never

I could wear this outfit over and over again, it is my uniform, my transition look. It's easy and comfortable. I can re-style it with a denim skirt or shorts when it gets warmer.  I would say a good black blazer is a must in everyone's closet.  Skinny jeans and several t-shirts as well, and don't let me forget cowgirl boots!! Never say never because I was the first one to say I would never wear them and look at me now :)

All The Flare

Three things...
Spring is coming!
In love with the flare jeans trend!
lastly, how cute are these shoes?
I won't tell you how many times my clumsy little self almost falls to the ground wearing them, but they sure did look cute. Now that I am more into thrifting it amazes me all the good items I have found.  These jeans specially!  I remember wearing this same style when I was younger and yes, I used to fall to the ground back then as well LOL  I wish I would have kept all those clothes and shoes.  If I only knew...

Wear Red Month

Hello February!
A little late start for this month but starting the month strong and wearing red! I wear red in February not for Valentine's Day, but for Heart Diseased Awareness Month. I am a survivor! If you have read my blog you know I was born with a congenital hear defect that thankfully was fixed back in 2017.  Now I spent this month celebrating my heart health and all the other many survivors out there.  Be sure to wear red this Friday as it's Wear Red Day.
I wore this outfit a couple of weeks back.  I think is safe to say I love blazers, any style. color or print lol.  I paired this one with my Selena t-shirt and what have become my favorite boots.
